On our way to 300

I first initiated this journey by sharing the idea with my husband. He latched on right away as he is a big proponent of principles and systems and methods and and and. Lol. I digress but his enthusiasm for my self-improvement was promising. Well, today we both took a leap towards our collective health habits.

Being young adults in the city, it’s often hard to resist a nice steak dinner or drinks with friends or the leisure of ordering in. After 10 months of marriage, our increase in celebration and decrease of physical activity has caught up with us.

A family friend of mine inspired me with a challenge that her circle started. It was a workout challenge aiming to reach 300 days of physical activity. Not quite a year but enough time to take 1-2 days off each week. And the kicker, more than enough time to build a habit. So today is day one. I share updates at each 50-day milestone.
